Frank designs and builds exclusive furniture that is both functional and artistic. It is built to private and corporate buyers' specifications. Each piece of furniture is individually numbererd to record and reflect its distinctiveness and uniqueness.

Environment

Frank prefers to work with recycled or reclaimed timber from the forest floor, which is seasoned and dried by nature. Frank particularly enjoys using Australia's vast range of hardwoods, inlcuding Western Australia's jarrah and marri and Victorian mountain ash and redgum. These are crafted to display the timbers' unique qualities and give the client the 'joy of ownership'. Only environmentally friendly lacquers and oils are used on the finished pieces. All of Frank's furniture is solid timber includig the backs and drawer bases.
Frank incorporates a variety of items in some of the furniture including wrought iron and pieces from old farm machinery to capture an authentic Australian style.

Technique

His constant desire to design furniture which has artistic appeal has seen him develop an exclusive method to seamlessly join curved pieces of timber. He is able to design and build furniture to almost any style, from rustic, natural-edged timber to the sleek refined look of contemporary furniture.
